Ministry in the Outback

Outback Ministry

Every year, students from the Adelaide College of Ministries hit the road to spread the good news about Jesus, to experience ministry in a totally new environment and to learn that God is so much bigger than they ever suspected.

The trips can be just a few days or a whole term.  They are in the Outback, to cities in Western Australia or Queensland, to India, Ethiopia or the Philippines.  And there are plenty of other possibilities, we just need the time and the students to be able to take advantage of them.  The trips stretch the students as well as the faculty and they give ministry opportunities the students might never have otherwise.  Preaching, singing, evangelism, children's ministry, even relief work.   The trips introduce folks to the Adelaide College of Ministries so people from all over Australia and all over the world can see what God is making available through the college.  Students bond with each other and learn they can do things they never would have believed.  And, as always, the first step is the step of faith.
